Entrepreneurial WIL can mean many things to many people. As post-secondary institutions continue to bear the shockwaves of multiple disruptions in education, how can entrepreneurship education and an experiential pedagogy become a driving force for the development of employability skills? How can it spark sensemaking and purposeful action for students, but also, for educators in the job readiness market?
Join an interactive workshop on October 26, 2021 from 1:00 - 2:00pm EDT as Dr. Jean Bibeau (Professor of entrepreneurship, Director of Accélérateur Entrepreneurial Desjardins (AED) of Université de Sherbrooke) proposes a journey of self reflection using the principles of entrepreneurship education and experiential pedagogy while talking through the opportunities and barriers faced when using this approach.

Dr. Jean Bibeau Bio:
Professor of entrepreneurship at the management school and director of the Accélérateur entrepreneurial Desjardins (AED) of Université de Sherbrooke in Québec. Following studies in law, Dr. Jean Bibeau spent 25 years as an entrepreneur launching and managing businesses that include: hotel resort center, cosmeceutical product launch, real estate park and hip-hop record label. During this time, he completed a Master of Political Science at the Université Paris I (Pantheon-Sorbonne) and a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) with research interests in business incubators, entrepreneurial accompaniment, experiential pedagogy and sensemaking of the learning experience. He has taught entrepreneurship education in music, science, medicine, management, law, kinesiology, education, engineering, communications, psychology and political science.
