Canadian Agricultural Human Resource Council

The Canadian Agricultural Human Resource Council (CAHRC) is a national, non-profit organization focused on addressing human resource issues facing agricultural businesses across Canada.

Growing Opportunities: Connecting skilled and motivated students with employers for careers in agriculture.

CAHRC’s Growing Opportunities project brings you a unique opportunity to recruit post-secondary students through Canada’s largest online campus recruiting platform and enjoy up to $7500 of subsidy for each student. Students having a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) requirement can develop an interest and skills through this unique opportunity to connect with the Agriculture industry.

Canadian employers related to agriculture can hire post-secondary students (local) to fill in full time or part time positions at their workplace and apply for subsequent wage subsidy support. From food growers to retailers, nursey and horticulture, ag-tech firms to universities and colleges, any organization supporting the dynamic industry is eligible to apply under this program.
