Dear CEWIL Canada Member,
We invite you to help us celebrate the achievements of our outstanding students! Whether working remotely or in-person, students across the country have year continued to make incredible contributions in classrooms and workplaces in Canada and beyond. Co-operative & Work-Integrated Learning (CEWIL) Canada is looking for university and college students that were outstanding in co-operative education (co-op) or other forms of WIL in the past year (2023) and you can help! The winning students or groups their institutions, and employers will receive national recognition because of these awards. Each award is worth $1,500 (a CEWIL Canada award of $1000.00 and the Emery-Dufault award of $500.00).
See our sample 2023 nomination form here, which includes the opportunity to nominate groups/group projects for recognition. This shift was made in response to many requests to allow institutions to submit groups of students who undertook an impactful co-op or WIL project together that before 2022 made them ineligible for nomination or shared recognition.
Please nominate your outstanding co-op/WIL student or group for the CEWIL Canada Co-op Student of the Year Awards (2023). The students will be evaluated on their job and academic achievement, contribution to co-operative education/WIL and involvement in extra-curricular activities at school and/or in the community at large (See our sample evaluation rubric here).

Nous vous invitons à nous aider à célébrer les réalisations de nos étudiants exceptionnels! Qu’ils travaillent à distance ou en personne, les élèves de partout au pays ont continué d’apporter une contribution incroyable dans les salles de classe et les milieux de travail au Canada et ailleurs. Enseignement coopératif et apprentissage intégré au travail (ECAIT) Canada est à la recherche d’étudiants universitaires et collégiaux qui ont été exceptionnels dans l’enseignement coopératif ou d’autres formes d’AIT au cours de la dernière année (2023) et vous pouvez aider! Les étudiants gagnants ou les groupes de leurs établissements et les employeurs recevront une reconnaissance nationale à la suite de ces prix. Chaque prix vaut 1 500 $ (un prix de CEWIL Canada de 1000,00 $ et le prix Emery-Dufault de 500,00 $).

Veuillez proposer la candidature de votre étudiant ou groupe exceptionnel en enseignement coopératif ou d’AIT pour les prix de l’étudiant de l’année de ECAIT Canada (2023). Les élèves seront évalués en fonction de leur rendement professionnel et scolaire, de leur contribution à l’enseignement coopératif/AIT et de leur participation à des activités parascolaires à l’école et/ou dans la collectivité en général (voir notre exemple de rubrique d’évaluation ici).
