Introducing Dan Lonergan, CEWIL’s Associate Director, Partnerships

Dan Lonergan has joined CEWIL as the Associate Director, CEWIL Partnerships on a one-year secondment to provide support to the Outcome Campus Connect platform and strategy from CEWIL member’s perspectives. Funding for the role was made possible through Magnet via Federal dollars secured from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). Dan joins CEWIL from Brock University where he has held the role of Senior Experiential Education Coordinator in the Goodman School of Business for the last three years, where he oversaw over 40 academic courses per term with various WIL components – the majority being community connected service learning projects. Dan has a strong educational background as well, with his Masters in Business Administration, and his Honours Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Over the past three years, Dan has displayed an excellent ability to manage the needs of multiple stakeholders including students, faculty and community and prides himself on his ability to build and maintain meaningful relationships across the board.

In his role with CEWIL, Dan will work closely with Magnet, Orbis Communications and all CEWIL stakeholders in order to further explore the Outcome Campus Connect platform. Dan’s aim is to provide solutions and feedback to partner organizations, support and build data systems and business processes, provide advice and expertise regarding stakeholder needs and communicate and liaise with Post-Secondary WIL leadership.

Dan stepped into the role on Sept. 1, 2020 and will be reaching out soon to begin having conversations and building relationships across the CEWIL membership.

Please join us in welcoming Dan to the CEWIL team!
