A Day in the Life…

Reporting to the Manager, Talent Partnerships & Relations, the Talent Partnerships Consultant (TPC) is responsible for building and maintaining effective hiring partnerships with employer organizations that will achieve co-op employment targets and goals. Following the Co-op Employer development strategy, the TPC will have a solid understanding of labor market trends, develop new co-op employment opportunities based on labor market trends and shifts, maintain and enhance existing employer partnerships, work effectively with the Student Talent Development and Engagement team to understand Brock co-op students’ need to meet the employment targets in each four month employer recruitment cycle. The incumbent is accountable for following consistent process and service delivery model that lead to retention of jobs and increased job opportunities for creditable work terms and an overall quality work term experience for students and employer partners. The work of the TPC Team has a direct influence on Brock’s reputation among perspective students and parents as well as labor market by ensuring co-op students secure quality work term experience and meet employer expectations.
