UBC’s Arts Co-operative Education Program is hiring a new Associate Director!

The Arts Co-op Program offers students enriched educational experiences for personal and professional growth by working with diverse community partners and sectors to provide transformative workplace learning as part of students' Arts degree programs. The Associate Director is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and evaluation of the undergraduate and graduate co-op programs in the Faculty of Arts. The position manages a broad range of functions including: continually evaluating and improving Co-op Program practices and policies for stakeholders; workflow planning and activity priorities; supervision, development and evaluation of staff; preparing, analyzing and reporting on Program’s budget and job conversion rates, placement statistics and satisfaction levels of stakeholders; aligning services with national and international best practices for university student co-op development and client/stakeholder service. The position provides strategic input into internal and external communication and business development strategies, and contributes to strategy and programs of the Arts Work Integrated Education and Careers portfolio generally.
